Christian Lee Gonzalez-Rivera serves as Of Counsel at Morales & Levine, P.A., consulting for the firm's appellate practice. He previously served as Senior Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Fleur Lobree at Florida's Third District Court of Appeal, where he managed over 200 appeals and writ petitions, primarily in civil cases. He also worked as trial and appellate counsel at the firm of Butler, Weihmuller, Katz & Craig, LLP, in the firm's Appellate and First Party Property practice groups, where he handled everything from dispositive pretrial motions to appeals in insurance cases, primarily in Florida's federal courts.
In addition to appellate consulting, Mr. Gonzalez-Rivera is an Assistant Professor of Law at St. Thomas University Benjamin L. Crump College of Law, his alma mater, whose teaching, research, and publications focus on Constitutional Law, Conflict of Laws, Statutory Interpretation, and International Law. He has been a Visiting Scholar at Georgetown University Law Center's Center for the Constitution (2024) and a Visiting Professor at Universidad Panamericana's Facultad de Derecho, in Mexico City, Mexico.
Mr. Gonzalez-Rivera holds a B.A. in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Puerto Rico (Rio Piedras) (Magna Cum Laude), a C.G.S. in Greek and Latin Languages from the University of Vermont (Magna Cum Laude), and J.D. (Magna Cum Laude) and L.L.M. (Summa Cum Laude) degrees from St. Thomas University College of Law, Miami, Florida.
